Microchipping

Keep track of your pet

In April 2016, microchipping became compulsory for all dogs, so your dog should have a microchip in place. If this is not the case, we can arrange for him/her to be microchipped.

It is not a legal requirement for your cat to have a microchip; however, it is advisable for them to be chipped. Microchipping gives you that peace of mind - if your pet did go missing, you'd have a much greater chance of being reunited with your furry friend. It has also been recognised as the most effective way of identifying your cat as the chip can be easily read using scanners found at all vets and rescue centres, whereas collars are often lost.
